Heard Mr.M.Palani, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.A.Kumar, learned Special Government Pleader, who took notice for the respondents and with their consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal. .

2. This writ petition has been filed by K.Sivaraj, who is a stage carrier operator in Tiruppur District, seeking a Writ of mandamus to direct the Regional Transport Authority, the 1st respondent heriein, to consider and pass orders on his pending renewal application dated 12/06/15 in respect of his stage carriage service bearing Regn. No. TN 39 BJ 7077, plying on the route Tiruppur to Coimbatore.

3. This Court, considering the limited prayer sought for, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the 1st respondent to consider and pass orders on the pending renewal application of the petitioner dated 12.06.2015, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
