Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 2nd respondent to reinstate the petitioner immediately as per Tamil Nadu Fundamental Rule 54(4) and further direct the 1st respondent to appoint and post the petitioner on par with the juniors pending disposal of writ petition.

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus to direct the second respondent to reinstate the petitioner immediately as per Tamil Nadu Fundamental Rule 54(4)and to further direct the first respondent to appoint and post the petitioner on par with the juniors pending disposal of writ petition.

2.This petition is today heard through Video Conferencing. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, on instructions from the petitioner who was present along with her, placed her submissions before this Court.
3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, on instructions, would submit that earlier the petitioner has filed W.P.No.22402 of 2011 before this Court seeking to direct the first respondent therein to promote the petitioner as Deputy Tahsildar and to reinstate him in service as Deputy Tahsildar and the said writ petition was allowed by this Court on 21.02.2012. The learned counsel would further submit that during the pendancy of this writ petition, the order of this Court dated 21.02.2012 passed in W.P.No.22402 of 2011 was complied with and hence, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition.
4.In view of the above, this writ petition is closed. No costs.
