This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent Police to register a case on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 06.08.2015.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. It is seen that on a complaint lodged by one Karthikeyan against this petitioner before the Manalurpettai Police Station, Villupuram District, petition enquiry was conducted in CSR.No.103 of 2015, during which a fracas ensued between the petitioner Manikandan and the opposite party in the Police Station itself. In this connection, this petitioner has given a complaint dated 06.08.2015 to the Manalurpettai Police Station by post.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that except an altercation, nothing occurred as alleged by the petitioner in his complaint dated 06.08.2015.
