When the Civil Miscellaneous Appeal is taken up for hearing, it is submitted by the learned counsel for the appellant as well as the learned counsel for the 2nd respondent that the matter has been settled before the Lok Adalat as early as on 11.12.2019. The learned counsel for the 2nd respondent has also produced the certified copy of the Lok Adalat award. Since the matter has been settled before the Lok Adalat, this appeal is not maintainable. Accordingly, the Civil Miscellaneous Appeal is dismissed. No costs.
