Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate direction or order directing the 1st respondent to consider the revision petition filed by the petitioner dated 15.09.2017 under Section 153 of the Tamil Nadu Co-Operative Societies Act without reference to the delay caused in filing the above revision petition within a time frame.

The relief sought for in this writ petition is for a direction to direct the first respondent to consider the revision petition filed by the writ petitioner on 15.09.2017, under Section 153 of the Tamil Nadu Co-Operative Societies Act. 2.
The writ petitioner is an employee of second respondent-Tamil Nadu Co-Operative Society and the terminal benefits due to the writ petitioner has not been disbursed by https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
the second respondent. In this regard, the writ petitioner preferred a revision petition under Section 153 of the Tamil Nadu Co-Operative Society on 15.09.2017, and the same is yet to be considered. Since, the matter relating to the terminal benefits payable to petitioner on his retirement the earlier disposal of the revision petition is necessary. It is stated that the writ petitioner is suffering even to lead his livelihood and therefore there is an urgency for earlier disposal.

In this view of the matter, the first respondent is directed to consider the revision petition submitted by the writ petitioner on 15.09.2017 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law and by affording opportunity to the parties concerned, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
