By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
2.The petitioner claims to be the grandson of one K.Krishnan, who owned the lands to the extent of 12 cents in Survey No.81/1 at Veettakudi Village, Vridhachalam Taluk, Cuddalore District and submitted an application to the second respondent under the Indira Ninaivu Kudiyirupu Sirappu Thittam 5% Cyclone and the second respondent has also issued necessary work permission vide orders dated 11.02.2014 and 25.02.2014. The petitioner would further submit that in terms of the above said approval, the grandfather of the petitioner started putting up construction and finished the basement work on 20.02.2015. Since necessary funds have not been released in terms of the above said scheme, he has submitted a representation on behalf of his grandfather on 11.06.2015. Though it was acknowledged, no orders have been passed and hence, came forward to file this writ petition.
3.Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that since the grandfather of the petitioner is aged and infirm, he is not in a position to sworn to the affidavit and it would be suffice to direct the second respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation within a stipulated time.
4.The Court heard the submissions of Mr.V.Subbiah, learned Special Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of respondents 1 and 3 and Mr.R.Rajeswaran, learned Special Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the second respondent. 5.This Court, taking into consideration the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner, without going into the merits of the representation, directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 11.06.2015, in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
