This petition has been filed to call for the records and quash the further proceedings in C.C.No.121 of 2018 as against the petitioner on the file of the IX Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai for offence under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act.
2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that he is not pressing the prayer to quash the proceeding and only seeks to dispense with the appearance of the petitioner before the trial Court.
3.The learned counsel for the respondent submitted that the entire evidence is already over and even questioning under Section 313 of Cr.P.C. is over and the matter is still protracted.
4.In such view of the matter, no further orders are required to be passed by this Court and accordingly, this petition stands dismissed. The learned IX Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai is directed to dispose of the main matter, within a https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
