Respondent/Complainant Prayer: Criminal Appeal has been filed under Section 374(2) of the Criminal Procedure Code, against the judgment and sentence passed by the learned I Additional Sessions Court at Tiruppur in S.C.No.294 of 2011 dated 31.07.2012 convicting the appellant for an offence under Section 489 (B) and 489 (c) of I.P.C. and for an offence under Section 489(B) of I.P.C and the appellant is sentenced to undergo 10 years imprisonment and also to pay a fine of Rs.2,000/- in default to undergo 3 months Simple Imprisonment and for an offence under Section 489 (c) of I.P.C. the appellant is sentenced to undergo 7 years Rigorous Imprisonment and also to pay a fine of Rs.1,000/- in default to undergo one month Simple Imprisonment and the period of sentence already undergone by the appellant is ordered to be set off under Section 428 of Criminal Procedure Code.
