O R D E R

This revision arises against two concurrent judgments of Courts below convicting the petitioner/accused for offences u/s.417 and 506 (ii) IPC and sentencing him to 1 year S.I. and fine of Rs.2000/- i/d 1 month S.I. for offence u/s.417 IPC and 1 year S.I. and fine of Rs.2,000/- i/d. 1 month S.I. for offence u/s.506(ii) IPC.

2. Heard learned counsel for petitioner.

3. Presently a joint memo of compromise stands filed. Finding that offence for which the petitioner stands convicted are compoundable, the offences for which the petitioner was tried shall be treated as compounded. Petition in Crl.M.P.No.13722 of 2016 reflecting the joint memo of compromise shall form part of the records. Accordingly, the criminal revision case is allowed. Judge, Thiruvannamalai, passed in Crl.A.No.11 of 2010 on 26.08.2016 confirming the judgment of learned Judicial Magistrate, No.II, Cheyyar, Thiruvannamalai District, passed in C.C.No.314 of 2006 on 18.11.2010 is set aside. Petitioner shall stand acquitted of all charges. Bail bond, if any, executed by petitioner shall stand cancelled. Connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
