This application is filed seeking to extend the time by another six months for disposal of the arbitral disputes by the Arbitral Tribunal constituted pursuant to the order dated 24.09.2018 passed in Application No.7162 of 2018 in O.P.No.151 of 2015.

2. Earlier, vide order dated 01.07.2016, this Court had appointed Mr.S.Ganesan, Retired District Judge as Sole Arbitrator. Thereafter, this Court vide order dated 24.09.2018 had extended the time for a period of six months for completion of arbitration proceedings. Now it is stated that the recording of evidence is over and the case is at the stage of arguments. As the mandate of the Tribunal has expired, the present application has been filed.

3. Heard Mr.Shivakumar, learned counsel for the applicant and Mr.S.Mahesh Kumar, learned counsel for the first respondent.

4. With the consent of learned counsel on both sides, time is extended by three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order for completing the arbitration proceedings. The parties should endeavour to complete the arbitration proceedings within a period of three months.
