Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issue of Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to take measures to prevent all the state transport corporation buses & private buses from collecting excess fares in the Ordinary Buses and to prevent the Express Buses being operated like Ordinary Buses and to operate 60% of Ordinary buses in all the routes to enable all the downtrodden people to use the bus service with less fare and to take measures to operate Town buses in all the routes and to collect the right fares as per the actual distance fixed by Highways department and to eliminate the grievances faced by the public while travelling in bus and to rectify the service deficiency in Tamilnadu Transport Corporation buses and private buses.
