By consent, the writ petition is take up for final disposal.
2. The petitioner claims to be the Dharmakartha of Sri Mariyamman Koil, Chinnathottalam Village and Post, Kudiyattam Taluk, Vellore District - 635 813. He would state that village people have decided to conduct Sri Mariyamman Koil Thiruvilla on 06.08.2015 in a grand manner. The petitioner submitted a representation dated 23.07.2015, to the respondent seeking permission to conduct village folk dance and other cultural programmes on 06.08.2015 at the said temple and since no orders came to be passed, he filed this writ petition.
3. Heard the submissions of Mr.P.Lakshmikanthan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the programme will be conducted in a peaceful manner without creating any law and order problem and they will not perform any obscene dance or any obscenity in the song and dance programme. The learned counsel hence prays for appropriate orders.

This Court taking into consideration the limited scope of the prayer made in this writ petition, directs the respondent to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 23.07.2015, on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders on or before 04.08.2015 and inform the decision taken to the petitioner.
