(The case has been heard through video conference) The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 25.06.2020 for the offences punishable under Section 4(1) (aaa) r/w. 4(1-A) of TNP Act and Section 4 & 5 of TNRS Rules, 2000, in Crime No.542 of 2020, seeks bail.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that he is innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He would further submit that he was arrested on 25.06.2020 and he is in custody for about 60 days. Hence, he prays to grant bail to the petitioner.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would submit that the petitioner is a history sheeter and he has been involved in 19 previous cases of similar nature and even in the year 2020, he has been involved in two cases. Therefore, he vehemently opposes for the grant of bail to the petitioner.

4.Taking into consideration of the facts and submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) that the petitioner has https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

got 19 previous. This Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
