ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondent to consider the representation dated 23.03.2023 made by the petitioner.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has made a representation on 23.03.2023 for cancellation of the patta based on the guidelines / directions issued by the Honble High court of Madras in W.P. No. 3827 of 2023 dated 09.02.2023. However the said representation was not considered by the respondent till date. Hence, this petition has been filed by the petitioner.

3. Ms.K.Aswini Devi, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondent and requests this Court to pass appropriate orders.

4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondent and also perused the materials available on record.

5. In view of the above, this Court directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.03.2023 on its own merits and dispose of the same in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
