O R D E R
(The case has been heard through video conference) The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 5, 7 (1), 7(3) of Lotteries Regulation Act, 1998 read with Section 420 of I.P.C. in Crime No.1782 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner had sold the lottery tickets to the public. Hence the complaint.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He would submit that there is no previous case registered against the petitioner. Hence, he prays for a anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the petitioner had sold the lottery tickets to the public. He would submit that the petitioner has six previous cases of similar nature.
Hence, he vehemently opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
5. Heard the counsel on either side and gone through the FIR registered by the respondent police.

6. Taking into consideration of the antecedents of the petitioner and he has involved six cases of similar nature, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
7. In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
