The writ petition is filed seeking mandamus, forbearing the respondents from interfering with the peaceful possession and enjoyment of the property No.4, Mount Poonamallee Road, Chennai. 2.When the matter was taken up for hearing on 23.11.2017, there was no representation for the petitioner. Hence, the matter was directed to be posted 'For Dismissal' on 24.11.2017. Even today, there is no representation for the petitioner either in person or through his counsel.

3.If there are encroachments in public places or constructions in violation of sanctioned plan, if any, and if there are set back violations, the authorities shall demolish that portion forthwith, within 15 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and submit the compliance report to the Registrar General of this Court, within 15 days thereafter. 4.Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed for nonprosecution.
