..Respondent(s) Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking issuance of writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to provide service road facility abutting retaining walls for its entire stretch on the either side of the Road Under Bridge to be constructed in Neikaranpatti - Parali Road crossing the Salem-Karur Broad Gauge Railways line level crossing gate No.12 by acquiring land, enabling the petitioner for his ingress and egress from Neikaranpatti - Parali Road to his properties situate in S.Nos. 426/1 in Ariyur Village, Mohanur Taluk, Namakkal District by considering the petitioners representation dated 12.03.2024 within the time frame.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to consider the petitioners' representation dated 12.03.2024. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that in this case, the petitioners have given a representation dated 12.03.2024 to provide service road facility abutting retaining walls for its entire stretch on the either side of the 'Road under Bridge' to be constructed in Neikaranpatti - Parali road crossing the Salem-Karur Broad Guage Railways line level crossing Gate No.12, by acquiring land, enabling the petitioners for their ingress and egress from Neikaranpatti - Parali Road to their properties.

3. In reply, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 & 2 would submit that the petitioners' representation dated 12.03.2024 will be disposed of by the 2nd respondent within a period of four weeks.

4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents and also perused the materials available on record.

5. In view of the above, this Court directs the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioners' representation dated 12.03.2024 on its own merits and dispose of the same in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioners.
