The petitioner is presently working as Data Entry Operator in Chennai Corporation. The next avenue of promotion is to the post of Assistant Programmer. According to the petitioner, she is fully qualified for promotion to the post of Assistant Programmer. However, her case was not considered by the 2nd respondent, inspite of giving representation on 04.04.2014. The petitioner, therefore seeks a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider her claim for promotion.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the Chennai Corporation.

3. The 2nd respondent is directed to consider and dispose of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 04.04.2014 on merits and in accordance with the regulations. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
