Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 2 to 4 to consider and to pass order upon the representation dated 23.07.2023 to cancel the Natham Patta No.338, for New S.No.378/20 to an extent of 0.0.36 Ares transferred in favour of 6th respondent and transfer into the name of petitioners and to cancel the assignment patta dated 29.01.2016 granted in favour of 5th respondent for Natham New S.No.378/22, extent of 0.0.94 Ares and patta No.874, Kiliyur village, Ulundurpettai Taluk, Kallakurichi District, and to transfer into the name of petitioners, pending on the file of the Respondents 2 to 4 within a reasonable time frame fixed by this Court. This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the third respondent to pass final orders based on the petitioner's representation dated 23.07.2023 wherein the petitioner is seeking for cancellation of patta that stands in the name of the sixth respondent with respect to the subject property. 2/4

2. Heard Mr.S.Natarajan, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 to 4.

3. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the fact that the representation made by the petitioner was already acted upon by the third respondent and summons was issued to the parties to attend enquiry, there shall be a direction to the third respondent to pass final orders in the pending proceedings after affording opportunity to the respondents 5 and 6, within a period of six

(6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
