The petitioner has come up with this petition, seeking a direction to the learned Chief Metropolitan Magistrate to expedite the trial in C.C.No.1511 of 2013.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it is only an application seeking a direction for passing an early date for disposal of the case itself. He further submitted that he had filed a petition for discharge on 16.09.2015 and till date, it has not been taken up. Therefore, he would contend that the lower Court may be directed to dispose of the case as the case is of the year 2013 and the discharge petition is of the year 2014.

3. I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate [Criminal Side] appearing for the respondent.

4. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, the learned Chief Metropolitan Magistrate is directed to take up the case in C.C.No.1511 of 2013 and dispose of the same, as expeditiously as possible.
