O R D E R
This Writ Petition (Criminal) has been filed to direct respondents 1 to 4 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 16.03.2026 and to ensure protection of the petitioner's life and liberty against the 5th respondent.
2. The case of the petitioner is that he had submitted a representation on 16.03.2026 seeking protection of his life, alleging that one Udya Kumar had cheated him. He further submitted that one Suresh Kumar, claiming himself to be an office bearer of a national party, had been threatening him. Though a representation was submitted, no action has been taken. Hence, this petition.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for respondents 1 to 4 submitted that the petitioner's complaint was received by the 3rd respondent on 18.03.2026, and has since been forwarded to the 4th 2/4
respondent. The 4th respondent has conducted an enquiry and will take appropriate action in accordance with law.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner undertakes that the petitioner will appear before the 3rd respondent on 27.04.2026 along with supporting documents. Thereafter, the 3rd respondent shall conduct an enquiry and if any cognizable offence is made out, take appropriate action in the manner known to law.
5. Recording the above, the Writ Petition (Criminal) is disposed of. No costs.
