By consent of both parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 2.The petitioner has come up with this writ petition seeking a direction to the respondents to consider and pass orders on his representation dated 16.07.2018 relating to the objection regarding drawal of High Tension Wire Over and above his agricultural land in S.Nos.87/3, 87/5, 90, 91/1, 91/4, 92/1F, 84/3, 86/1, 86/2A situated in 84/3 Nelveli Village, Walajapet Division, Kancheepuram District and for consideration of an alternate route over and above the Government lands, on merits, as per law within a time frame.
3.According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 16.07.2018 claiming the same relief as prayed in this writ petition, but, the said representation is yet to be disposed of by the respondents. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court. However, the learned counsel submitted that till the disposal of this writ petition the respondents be directed to maintain status quo.
4.Mr.V.Jayaprakashnarayanan, learned Special Government Pleader taking notice for R1 and R4 and Mr.Abdul Saleem, learned Standing Counsel taking notice for R2 and R3, submitted that the respondents be directed to consider the petitioner's representation and pass orders in accordance with law. They also submitted that status quo would be maintained in the meanwhile. 5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 16.07.2018 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as any of the interested parties, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Till such time, the respondents are directed to maintain status quo.
