When the matter is called, Mr.M.Karthikeyan, learned Special Government Pleader, who accepts notice for the respondents states that the impugned proceedings have been withdrawn on 03.08.2020 on account of the pendency of the proceedings under https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Section 78 of the Tamil Nadu Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Act, 1959, a copy of which is placed on file.

2. Recording the aforesaid, this writ petition is closed. The Section 78 proceedings, stated to be ongoing, will be completed within a period of sixteen (16) weeks from date of uploading of this order, after hearing the petitioner, either over video conference or by way of physical hearing as may be mutually convenient to the parties. Connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
