Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.10.2015 requesting for approval of her appointment as Cook in the second respondnet school with effect from the date of her appointment.

By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner would state that she was appointed as Cook at the Noon Meal Centre in the second respondent school on 01.09.2014, in the retirement vacancy of one Mrs.Lakshmi. The petitioner further states that the said post was the sanctioned post. The second respondent has forwarded the papers for approval of the first respondent, but, no order was passed and therefore, the petitioner made a representation dated 25.10.2015 requesting for approval of her appointment in the second respondent school. But, till date it is not considered. Therefore, the present writ petition has been filed.

Heard Mr.P.Manojkumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.L.Mahendran, learned Government Advocate, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. 4.This Court, considering the submission of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and without going into the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 25.10.2015 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner.

In the result, the Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
