Respondents This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issue of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records in connection with the communication passed by the respondents 3 to 7 vide Reference in a) GIC in Ref:legal:GIC:287:572:2001 dated 17.5.2001 b) UIIC H.O.:PER:2049:2001 dated 18.5.2001 c) NIAC CNRO:VGD:HRM CL III & IV CELL:07 dated 31.5.2001 d) OIC Department Personnel dated 21.5.2001, e) NIC Ref: Nil dated 31.5.2001 respectively, in consequence to petitioner's representation dated 20.5.2000 and to quash the same and consequently direct the said respondents to implement and comply with the policy formulated by the Central Government in O.M.No.36012/2/96 dated 2.7.1997, both in recruitment and promotion on post based roster system and submit running account of the same every year in all categories of service of all the respondents.

The writ petition was listed for final hearing on 29.6.2017 and none represented on behalf of the writ petitioner. Thus the case is posted under the caption "For Dismissal" today on 30.6.2017 and once again there is no representation on behalf of the writ petitioner and Mr.V.Kalyanaraman, counsel for respondents 3 to 5 and Mr.P.Sukumar, counsel for the sixth respondent, appeared. Hence, the writ petition stands dismissed for non-prosecution, however, there shall be no order as to costs.
