Respondent Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to permit the petitioner and villagers to conduct the cultural programme in Rasapettai Village, Kurinjipadi Taluk, Cuddalore District on 31.07.2015 by providing adequate security. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner claims to be the organizer of temple festival of Sri Kannanurmariamman Koil, situated at Rasapettai Village and while conducting temple festival, song and dance programme is scheduled to be performed on 31.07.2015 and in this regard, submitted a representation dated 15.07.2015 to the respondent seeking permission and since, he has not been favoured with any response, came forward to file this writ petition.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that in the event of permission being granted, there will not be any law and order problem and obscenity and vulgarity will not be there and hence, prays for appropriate orders.

4. Heard the submissions of Mr.N.Roofus Abraham, learned Government Advocate, who accepts notice for the respondent.

5. This Court, without going into the merits of the petitioner's representation dated 15.07.2015, directs the respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 15.07.2015 and pass orders in accordance with https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

law on or before 30.07.2015 and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner.
