ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed to direct the respondents not to harass the petitioners under the guise of investigation in pursuant of the petitioners explanation dated 17.03.2026.

2.There is a complaint from the counter petitioner that the petitioner had collected a sum of Rs.10,000/- cash and one sovereign of Gold jewel. The same have not been returned. For this purpose, the petitioners were called for enquiry and the second petitioner alone appeared before the respondents police and gave an undertaking to settle the issue.

3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent. 4.In view of the above submissions, both the petitioners are directed to appear before the respondents police to settle the issue with the counter petitioner and this process to be completed within period of three weeks after the date of election.
