ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of Mandamus

directing the respondents 1 to 4 to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 24.11.2024 wherein the petitioner is seeking for cancellation of patta that stands in the name of the 5 th respondent and for issuance of patta in favour of the petitioners.

Heard Mr.S.Selvaraj, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader for respondents. 3.

It is seen from records that the petitioner had given a representation before the 2 nd respondent and the 2 nd respondent in turn has forwarded the same to the 3 rd respondent. The 3 rd respondent has also issued a communication to the th respondent dated 03.02.2025 seeking for a report and thereafter, there was absolutely no progress. It is under these circumstances, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the 3 rd respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 21.11.2024 on its own merits and in accordance with law after affording an opportunity to the 5 th respondent and final orders shall be passed within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
