ORDER
(Order of the court was made by V.PARTHIBAN, J.) The writ petition has been filed by the owner of the subject property, challenging the impugned notice for deoccupation and lock and seal of the premises, issued under the provisions of the Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act, 1971 with regard to certain deviations in the construction.
2. Considering the efficacious remedy available under the Act, the petitioner is permitted to file an appeal under Section 80(A) of the Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On filing of such appeal, the authority concerned is directed to dispose of the same within a period of six weeks thereafter. In the meanwhile, as an interim measure, there shall be an order of status quo. It is also made clear that the petitioner shall not make any encumbrance or create any third party right over the property in question till then. With the above observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. The connected miscellaneous petition is closed. Sd/- Vacation Officer //True Copy// Sub Assistant Registrar ssk.
