This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to file the final report under section 173 Cr.P.C. in Crime No.646 of 2010 within the time frame fixed by this Court.

2. The petitioner herein is a South Korean National presently residing in India for Industrial Constructions Business purpose. He has lodged a complaint against V.Manikandan, Rajendran, Ulagappan, Deepak of M/s. Power Guard India Private limited, Chennai within the Central Crime Branch/III Egmore, Chennai in Crime No.646 of 2010 for the offence under sections 406 and 408 r/w 34 of Indian Penal Code. Though a complaint was lodged as early as on in the year 2010, till date, the charge sheet has not been filed.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the alleged offence of cheating has taken place in different States and that is the reason for the delay in completing the investigation and now, the investigation is almost completed and within a short span of time, the respondent will file the final report.

4. Considering the submissions made on either side, this Court directs the respondent police, to complete the investigation and file a final report as early as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, the criminal original petition is disposed of.
