Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to provide proper information about the acquisition of petitioner's land bearing Survey No.188/1B situated at Vadakal Vallam Village, Sriperumbudur Taluk, Kancheepuram District, to an extent of 2.54 acres, and in case of acquisition of the petitioner's land, and directing the respondents to award appropriate compensation within a time frame.

By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
2.The petitioner claiming to be owner of the property bearing Survey No.188/1B situated at Vadakal Vallam Village, Sriperumbudur Taluk, Kancheepuram District, admeasuring to an extent of 2.54 acres, came to know that the respondents are taking steps to increase the breadth of the highway and for that purpose, they are going to acquire certain lands including the petitioner's land and on https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
coming to know about the same, he submitted a representation dated 5.9.2013, followed by a legal notice dated 13.5.2015, and since he has not been favoured with any response, came forward to file this writ petition.
3.Heard the submissions of the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, and Mr.M.Digvijaya Pandian, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepted notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2.
4.Though the petitioner prayed for a larger relief, this Court, without going into the merits of the representation and legal notice, directs the second respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 5.9.2013, and the legal notice dated 13.5.2015, in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
