Mrs.Kalpana v. The Deputy Director (Revenue)

W.M.P.No.14235 of 2021 in W.P.No.34652 of 2019 and W.M.P.No.14236 of 2021 in W.P.No.7280 of 2020 THE HON'BLE CHIEF JUSTICE and SENTHILKUMAR RAMAMOORTHY, J.

These applications have been filed to substitute Ms.Kalpana in the place of the erstwhile writ petitioner, Mr.A.Periaswamy, in W.P.Nos.34652 of 2019 and 7280 of 2020.

Since it is stated that the erstwhile petitioner died on June 11, 2021 due to Covid-19 infection and relevant documents have been produced to substantiate that the proposed substituted petitioner is the daughter of the erstwhile petitioner, these applications, W.M.P.Nos.14235 and 14236 of 2021, for substitution are allowed.

The Registry is directed to carry out the consequential amendment in the writ petitions.
