O R D E R

The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent to register the petitioner's complaint dated 01.08.2015.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that on 26.10.2000, one Appasamy asked the petitioner's brother C.Dakshinamoorthy to climb and pluck coconut from coconut tree. While climbing the coconut tree, the said Dakshinamoorthy slipped and sustained grievous injury. He was taken to hospital. In spite of treatment, he died. Now, the petitioner lodged a complaint on 01.08.2015 against the said Appasamy. Till date, no action has been taken on the said complaint. Hence, the present criminal original petition has been filed.

3. I have heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

4. In the considered opinion of this court, there is absolutely no merit in the petition. The petitioner's brother died in the year 2000, after fifteen years the petitioner lodged the complaint. Therefore, the petition is not liable to be entertained and the same is dismissed.
