ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 to 3 not to harass the petitioner.

2. The petitioner had already lodged a complaint to the Inspector of Police/first respondent on 12.06.2021, in which, she has narrated the civil dispute between the petitioner and the fourth respondent and others. In spite of that, the first respondent under the guise of enquiry, harrased the petitioner

and forced her to settle the civil dispute pending between her and the fourth respondent.

3. The Government Advocate (Crl.Side) has submitted that the fourth respondent/Chandra W/o.D.Selvam had already filed a Writ Petition before this Court in W.P.No.4157 of 2021, wherein, the Inspector of Police, Selaiyur was shown as the second respondent and Rajammal, who is the mother of the present petitioner, as third respondent and this Court by the order dated 23.02.2021, permitted the respondent Police to call the parties for enquiry.

4. Considering the above submissions, it is seen that based on the order of this Court, dated 23.02.2021, the respondents have conducted enquiry and called the petitioner for enquiry on 10.06.2021. The respondent police acted only as per the directions of this Court and hence, the said enquiry cannot be termed as harassment.

5. In view of the same, the petitioner is directed to appear before the respondent police as and when called for enquiry and the respondent police shall also issue summons to the petitioner for her appearance.

6. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
