This petition has been filed to direct the respondent Police to register the petitioner's complaint dated 18.05.2016.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent and perused the materials placed on record.
3. On reading of the complaint dated 18.05.2016 lodged by the petitioner, the matter essentially appears to be civil dispute between the petitioner and her brother with regard to their father's property.
4. Since the dispute is civil in nature, no positive direction can be issued as prayed for by the petitioner and this petition is closed, with liberty to the petitioner to workout her remedies in the manner known to law.
