ORDER

This petition has been filed to relax the condition imposed on the petitioner by an order dated 11.01.2022 in Crl.M.P.No.169 of 2022 by the XVI Metropolitan Magistrate, George Town, Chennai, to report before the respondent police on the first day of every month until further orders.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that while granting bail to the petitioner, the trial Court imposed a condition that "the petitioner is directed to appear before the respondent police on the first day of every month until further orders". However, the petitioner submits that till date, he has been complying with the above conditions. Hence, he prays for further modification.

Heard the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the

reason stated by the petitioner is justifiable and reasonable one. Hence, the petition for relaxation is allowed and further the petitioner is directed to appear before the respondent police as and when required for interrogation.

5. With the above modification, this Criminal Original Petition is ordered.
