ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 19.03.2022 for the offence punishable under Section 302, 201 I.P.C. in Crime No.166 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the accused A1-Kumaran and A2-Vijayalakshmi had illicit intimacy. A2's husband Venkatesan had given trouble to their illicit intimacy and they decided to kill him. On 10.03.2022, at about 12.00 hrs (night), in A2's residence at Periyaputhur, Arunnagar, Salem, Venkatesan was in drunken mood, at that time Kumaran has come to her house and has beaten Venkatesan with iron rod in his head and both used knife to cut his neck. After his death, they planned to dispose the body in an unused well. Hence, the complaint was registered as against the petitioner. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he is only the relative of said accused A1. there is specific overact against the petitioner. He further submitted that the petitioner is not at all involved in the alleged occurrence, hence, he prays for grant of bail to the petitioner. 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that there are totally three accused in which the petitioner is arrayed as A3. Petitioner had committed very serious and cruel murder on the deceased Venkatesan. Hence, he vehemently opposed to grant bail to the petitioner.

5.Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions of the learned counsels, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
