Respondents Prayer : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ of certiorarified mandamus calling for the records leading to the issue of notification in F No.6103/20/2010/NCTE/(N&S), dated 23.8.2010 and F.No.611/2011/NCTE(N&S), dated 29.7.2011 issued by the third respondent and consequential Clause 2.2 of the notification No. 8/2019, dated 28.2.2019 calling for the Teachers Eligibility Test for the year, 2019 issued by the fifth respondent quash the same and consequently direct the fifth respondent to consider those with Pulavar or B.Lit., or B.O.L., with Tamil Pandit Training (TPT) and issue orders to appear for the examination notified in notification No.8/2019, dated 28.2.2019 to those with Pulavar or B.Lit., or B.O.L., with Tamil

Pandit Training (TPT) and for appointment as B.T. Assistant (Tamil) in the Schools of Tamil Nadu.

ORDER

(Order of the court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard Mr.M.Kamalanathan, learned counsel for the petitioner; Mr.K.Karthik Jagannath, learned Government Advocate for respondents 2, 4, 8 and 9; Mr.Su.Srinivasan, learned counsel for respondent No.3; and, Mr.B.Rabu Manohar, learned SCGPC for respondent No.7.

2. The petitioner is challenging the notifications dated

23.8.2010 and 29.7.2011 issued by the third respondent and Clause 2.2 of the notification dated 28.2.2019 issued by the fifth respondent calling for the Teachers Eligibility Test for the year 2019.

3. The said Teachers Eligibility Test is over. The petitioner is not an aggrieved person. If there are persons aggrieved, they may file the writ petition vindicating their rights.

4. With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs. Consequently, W.M.P.Nos.13627, 13636 and 13741 of 2019 are closed.
