..Respondent(s) PRAYER - This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st and 2nd respondents to survey and mark the boundaries of the land belonging to the petitioner in Villupuram District, Villupuram Taluk, Villupuram R.D, Valavanur Sub.D., Elangadu Village, bearing Dry Survey No.70/10 in this extent of 0.51 cents out of the total 1.26 cents situated within Elangadu grama Panchayat union based on the petitioner's application for the survey and marking of boundaries vide Challan No.2026/ 0123/ 07/ 000502 dated 07.02.2026. O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to survey and

demarcate the property, which according to the petitioner is owned by him, based on the online application, dated 07.02.2026, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. The petitioner had submitted an application through on-line on 07.02.2026 for the aforesaid purpose. Since the same was not considered, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

3. Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the respondents are directed to survey and demarcate the boundaries of the petitioner's property morefully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition, after hearing the objections, if any, from the neighbouring land owners as well as any other party whom they deem fit within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of in the following manner:- (a) Before surveying the lands in question, the respondents are directed to issue notice to the neighbouring land owners, and also to any other party, if they deem fit to put on notice.

(b) After receiving objections if any and after considering the same, the respondents shall conduct survey and demarcate the boundaries of the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, on merits and in accordance with law.

(c) If police assistance is required, the 1st respondent is permitted to obtain the same by giving a representation to the police department and the police department shall act accordingly by granting police assistance.

(d) the respondents are directed to complete the aforesaid exercise within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

(e) There shall be no order as to costs.
