O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to register an F.I.R., on the complaint dated 27.03.2015 lodged by the petitioner.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent.

3. On a complaint lodged by this petitioner, petition enquiry in CSR.No.108 of 2015 was conducted by the Sub Inspector of Police, Marakkanam Police Station. During the enquiry, it was found that the cause of action arose within the jurisdiction of Tindivanam Police Station and the petitioner has also given a letter to the Inspector of Police, Marakkanam Police Station that he will work out his remedy with the Tindivanam Police Station.

4. In view of the letter given by this petitioner, petition enquiry in CSR.No.108 of 2015 was closed by the respondent Police. Hence, no positive direction can be issued to the respondent Police to register an FIR., With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
