ORDER

The present writ petition is filed praying for a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to survey the land and issue separate patta on the basis of petitioner online application dated 15.03.2025 and on the basis of settlement deed in document No. 2237 dated 26.08.2015 and document No. 2258 dated 27.08.2015 and document No. 2476 dated 03.09.2015 at Athipakkam Village, Ulundurpet Taluk, Kallakurichi District and make necessary entries in the revenue records.

At the outset, it was submitted by Mr.P.Ganesan, Government Advocate for respondents that they would process the petitioner's online application dated 15.03.2025 and consider the request of the petitioner to issue separate patta and pass appropriate orders within a time period fixed by this Court, which was agreed to by the learned counsel for petitioner.

3. In view thereof, the writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to 2/4

respondents to process petitioner's online application dated 15.03.2025 and consider the request made by petitioner to issue separate patta and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law after affording the petitioner a reasonable opportunity of hearing within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the case and it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the matter on its own merits and in accordance with law. There shall be no order as to costs.
