PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the fourth respondent to consider petitioner representation dated 30.01.2023 in the light of the first respondent report dated 13.10.2022 and issue the community certificate as "Hindu Kurumans".

ORDER

(The Order of the Court was made by D.KRISHNAKUMAR, J) The present Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the fourth respondent to consider petitioner's representation dated 30.01.2023 in the light of the first respondent's report dated 13.10.2022 and issue community certificate as "Hindu Kurumans".

2. It is the case of the petitioner that she belongs to Tribal Community of "Kurumans". Though in the petitioner's School Transfer Certificate her Page No.2 / 5

community was mentioned as "Kurumans", she has not been issued with the community certificate. Hence, she made a representation dated 30.01.2023 to issue Community Certificate. Since the said representation has not been considered, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner's representation was considered by the fourth respondent and rejected the same vide Na.Ka.No.A1/2744/2023, dated 26.08.2023.

4. Recording the above submission of the learned Additional Government Pleader, this Writ Petition is dismissed. However, liberty is given to the petitioner to challenge the said order, if he is so aggrieved. No costs.
