ORDER
This petition has been filed seeking for transfer the investigation in Crime No.2 of 2019 which is now pending on the file of the 2nd respondent.
2.The 2nd respondent has filed a status report before this Court. It will be relevant to extract some of the portions from the status report as hereunder:
"4.It is submitted that a case was registered in Coimbatore City A.W.P.S (East) Cr.No.2/2019 u/s.498(A), 406, 294(b), 506(ii) IPC by me on 21.02.2019 and then the investigation was taken up by me.
It is submitted that during the course of investigation, have examined the witnesses and recorded their statement
1.Tmt.Kavitha - Complainant 2.Mr.Kumerasan - Father of the Complainant 3.Mr.Raman, 4)Mr.Bhuvaneswaran 5)Mr.Mayilsamy - Neighbours of the Complainant All the above witnesses corroborated the same version as in the complaint.
5.It is submitted that meanwhile A-2 and A-3 filed anticipatory bail petition before the Hon'ble High Court vide Crl.O.P.No.11013/2019. A-1 is still absconding. I have asked the defacto complainant to furnish the passport details of her husband / A-1 in order to issue Look Out Circular. She informed that she is not aware of the details of the Passport. Hence I am taking efforts to get the particulars about the passport of the accused from the Immigration Office, after getting all the particulars, the LOC will be issued to the Immigration Office as soon as possible.
6.It is submitted that the case is under investigation and still I have to secure A-1 who is in Dubai. Once the above task is completed, I will filed a charge sheet before the concerned Court in accordance with law."
3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondent police.
4.This Court is satisfied with the manner in which the investigation is progressing in this case and there is no requirement for any change of investigation at this stage. 5.This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the 2nd respondent to continue with the investigation effectively and complete the same and file a final report before the concerned Court as expeditiously as possible.
