This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent not to harass the petitioners based on the representation of the petitioners dated 14/5/2022.

2. Heard Mr.K.G.Senthilkumar, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr.A.Gokulakrishnan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that the second respondent Police is harassing the petitioners, on the basis of the complaint lodged by the petitioners, dated 14/5/2022.

4. A perusal of the complaint would indicate that the dispute is purely civil in nature. Therefore, the Police after issuing necessary notice to the petitioners, enquire into the complaint and decide the issue, as per law.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
