ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of a Mandamus directing the respondents to pay the pending amount of difference of Service Gratuity of Rs.42,606/- and difference of Leave Salary of Rs.25,799/- to the petitioner as communicated to him under Right to Information Act, 2005 along with interest at the rate of 6% per annum payable from the date of retirement in the light of the order passed by this Court dated 18.10.2024 in W.P.No.No.30627 of 2024 within the time that may be stipulated by this Court.

2.The case of the petitioner is that he joined the services of the respondent Corporation in the year 1992 and he retired from service on 31.05.2017. 3.The grievance of the petitioner is that after his retirement, the difference of service gratuity and difference of leave salary are not paid to the petitioner. Hence, the petitioner sought for reply under the Right to Information Act, 2005 about the pending amounts payable to him and the respondent Corporation informed that difference of Gratuity of Rs.42,606/- and difference of Leave Salary of Rs.25,799/- are payable to the petitioner. Hence, the petitioner sent representation dated 06.01.2025 to the respondents seeking for payment of the same.

4.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents.

5.A direction is given to the respondents to examine the petitioner's Service Register and determine whether the difference of Gratuity and Leave

Salary had been paid to the petitioner and if not paid, pay the same along with interest at 6% per annum from the date of retirement till date of actual disbursement. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6..With the above observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
