Apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 498(A) and 506(i) IPC in Cr.No.not known of 2016 on the file of the respondent police, the petitioner has come forward with this petition seeking anticipatory bail.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side.

Learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that petition enquiry is pending in this matter.

4. Considering the nature of allegation coupled with the fact that only a petition enquiry is pending in this matter, this Court is inclined to pass the following order:

(i) the respondent police is directed to complete the petition enquiry and shall either register a case or drop further action and file a status report before this court on 28.09.2016. Till then, the respondent police shall not arrest the petitioner.

(ii) the petitioner is directed to appear before the respondent police, on every Tuesday and Friday at 10.00 a.m.

and also as and when required for interrogation and co-operate with the enquiry.

5. Post the matter for reporting compliance on 28.09.2016.
