Side) COMMON ORDER (The case has been heard through video conference) The petitioner who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 07.03.2010 and 06.05.2020 for the offence punishable under Section 379 of IPC in Crime Nos. 300, 618 of 2010 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police, seek bail.
The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the earlier application for bail filed on behalf of the petitioner had been dismissed by the Hon'ble Mr.Justice.M.Nirmal Kumar, with a direction to complete the trial within a specified period. He would submit that earlier the Court had reserved the case for pronouncing judgments and the Court had on its own had reopened the case and issued summons to PW4 for re-examination and there by pronouncement of Judgment is unnecessarily delayed and he would only pray that a direction may be issued to the concerned Judge to complete the trial in a expeditious manner. In view of the above, a direction is issued to the learned Judicial Magistrate to pronounce the judgment at the earliest preferably within a period of two months from the date of normal resumption of Courts. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Hence, these Criminal Original Petitions are dismissed with the above direction.
