O R D E R

The petitioner has come forward with this petition seeking for a direction to the second respondent herein to give police protection to him, pursuant to the representation dated 14.9.2015 and investigate the matter in accordance with law.

2. When the matter is taken up, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submitted that the respondents police already issued notice dated 21.9.2015 to the petitioner directing him to appear before the second respondent on 22.9.2015 at about 18.00 hours for enquiry.

3. In view of the fact that notice has already been issued to the petitioner by the respondents police, the petition seeking for police protection cannot be entertained. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.

4. The respondents police shall enquire the matter in accordance with law.
