PRAYER : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing (a) 1st respondent to proceed forward with the enrolment process without any further delay subject to reversal upon any adverse report from the CBSE Board, the 3rd respondent herein; (b) 3rd respondent herein to take this matter with utmost priority and complete the process of verification at the earliest.

ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) This writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeks a direction to the first respondent to proceed with the enrolment process without any further delay, subject to the reversal upon any adverse report from the third respondent, and to direct the third respondent to take this matter with utmost priority and complete the process of verification at the earliest.
2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel appearing for respondents 2 and 3, on instructions, submits
that the mark sheets of the petitioner for Classes X and XII have been duly verified by the Board and the verification reports were sent to the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, vide letters dated 6.12.2025 and 29.6.2026.
3. At this juncture, learned counsel for the first respondent submits that since they have received verification reports from the Board, they will proceed further in the matter and take a decision, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible. The said statement is taken on record.
4. In view of the aforesaid statement made by learned counsel for the first respondent, no direction needs to be issued in this writ petition and the writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
