ORDER
The prayer in the writ petition is to implement the order of the first respondent made in O.Mu.A3/5108/2024, dated 07.03.2025 within the time frame as may be fixed by this Court.
2. Upon hearing the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents and perusing the affidavit and other material records of the case, the grievance of the petitioner is that the palm trees are auctioned every year for the purpose of harvesting their leaves as well as the fruits. In this regard, even last year, there was malpractice with reference to the auctioning. When the petitioner made a representation to the District Collector, it was forwarded to the second respondent for consideration and due action.
3. When the matter came up for admission, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 submitted that the representation of the petitioner would also be duly considered and requested 15 days time for considering the same.
4. In view of the said undertaking given by the second respondent that 2/4
they will look into the representation made by the petitioner and also forwarding the letter of the District Collector and take action accordingly within a period of 15 days is recorded. The second respondent shall also send an observer during the auction. The parties shall act on the web copy of the order without waiting for the certified copy.
5. In view thereof, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. 08.04.2025 nsl To 1.
